Best Paper Awards
This award recognizes individuals or teams for their outstanding contributions to research related to mathematics teaching and learning in PreK–12 schools and teacher education. The award recognizes excellence in original research, innovative thinking, methodological rigor, and impact of the research beyond academic community. The M-CTRAS Best Paper Awards are awarding the best paper, not the best presentation.
Submission Process:
• At the conclusion of M-CTRAS conference, presenters who are interested to be considered for the Best Paper Award will submit their full-length papers (maximum 6,000 words, APA 7 format) to the M-CTRAS Policy and Award Committee Chair by October 31 by 11:59pm (PST). A submission of the paper will not preclude you from submitting your manuscript for publication. Winners of the awards are highly encouraged to submit their papers to the Journal of Mathematics Education Special Issue, a flagship journal of M-CTRAS, for consideration of publication.
• A panel of judges within the M-CTRAS Policy and Award Committee will be formed to review and select the two Best Paper Awards.
• Winners will be informed by March 31 the following year and be invited to receive the awards at the annual M-CTRAS conference.
